The TE+ND (Terrestrial Exploration + Nurture Designed) Rovers are robotic fostering environments that use sonar, optical sensors, gyros, light sensors, hydro sensors and dead reckoning to care for their own garden of native California plants. Using these sensors the rovers interact with participants and actively seeking out light and water.
