Using Node.js, socket.io, HTML 5, and client-side JavaScript to control IO on the Beaglebone Black. Also, using the same stack to read the temperature using a TMP36 and stream it to the device. Interesting aspects include using DeviceOrientation to control a remote RGB LED and using the Web Speech API to use voice on the phone to turn a LED on the Beaglebone on/off.
