A 6LoWPAN Border Router connects your 6LoWPAN devices to the Internet and is responsible for handling traffic to and from the IPv6 and 802.15.4 interfaces. 6LBR is a deployment-ready solution for 6LoWPAN/RPL border routers, based on Contiki OS. You don’t need to be a Contiki expert to get started with it, it is designed to run out-of-the-box on BeagleBone.
